About this tool
PNG is a safe choice when you want to edit an image or keep a transparent background. This page converts your WebP to PNG in your browser. Transparent areas stay transparent, and your file is never uploaded.
Questions people ask
Is the transparent background kept?+
Yes. PNG supports transparency, so a see-through WebP stays see-through.
Why is the PNG so much bigger?+
WebP squeezes files very well and PNG does not. A bigger file is normal.
